ADAMOS is the strategic alliance for mechanical and plant engineering and stands for ADAptive Manufacturing Open Solutions. The joint venture was founded for the future topics Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The goal of the alliance is to bundle the know-how from mechanical engineering, production and information technology and to establish ADAMOS as a global industry standard.

The ADAMOS IIoT platform provides basic functionality as Platform as a Service (PaaS). It is the technological basis for the digital marketplaces (ecosystems) of the ADAMOS partners. It provides IT services for production, stores and analyzes production-relevant data. The ADAMOS platform enables cross-company networking of production processes.
