GSA wants to move from green screens to a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) for applications that support Federal Asset Management functions, without requiring extensive, time-consuming and costly changes.
The Solution
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) employed Unisys ClearPath ePortal Enterprise Solution's a specialty engine operating within the Agency's secure ClearPath Libra environment to web-enable key information transactions that resided in its green-screen application environment. The tool provides browser-based point-and-click development capabilities, which enabled GSA to modernize existing transactions and extend its applications to the Web with no back-end changes required.
