Asian Paints Ltd is an Indian multinational paint company, with an annual revenue of almost 3 million dollars, headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution of paints, coatings, products related to home décor, bath fittings and providing of related services.
Asian Paints has a very automated production line but felt they did too much flat reporting. Within a management, there was a feeling they were generating a lot of data, but they weren't sure how to get more value out of this data.
Through putting in Sight Machine's digital twin, Asian Paints was able to combine time-series data with business object data, and use this data to behave and work differently. In addition, they immediately found opportunities for optimizing cycle time. After implementing the system in one plant, they want to integrate it into all their manufacturing facilities so that they're in a great position to compare performance across plants.
